The Baddoos are an accomplished band of multi-instrumentalists known for playing covers of popular songs with a focus on funk.
Known for rearranging contemporary pop, funk, and electronic tunes, they feature multi-instrumentalists who frequently gig at local events. They have been gigging across the South West of England for several years and have appeared at Summer Sessions on previous occasions but with different lead singers, originally Bonnie Baddoo from whom the band takes its name. This year's lineup is as follows...
Tala Harper-Scott - vocals
Adam Bertenshaw - guitar
Nathan Rennie - bass
Jack Marley - drums

Ian Drury Allstars
|
Ian Drury will be returning to Linton this year after a looooooong break. As for the Allstars, well they don’t actually exist - yet! But Ian and his talented chums will definitely be throwing up a few surprises at Linton Summer Sessions this year and that’s a cast iron promise. As for the music – well, we’ll just have to see on the day won’t we?

Groovestone
|
Groovestone are a three-piece rock and blues band from Ross-on-Wye. Matt (guitar and vocals), Rob (drums) and Ben (bass) have played together for the best part of ten years, through a few different lineups and names. Groovestone is that partnership stripped back to the three of them, playing songs you know, with warmth and a bit of grit.

Ravensong
|
Over the past few years, Ravensong has been a regular contributor to Alma open mic evenings (3rd Tuesday of each month) . He has so impressed us with his original compositions and unique take on covers that we just had to persuade him to perform to a wider audience at this year's Summer Sessions.
Ravensong is not only an excellent musician, he's also a talented artist and web designer - check out his website below or click on the image. Website: ravensong.co.uk/ |
