Jack Cookson
Jack is a songwriter and multi-instrumentalist born in Birmingham, raised in Plymouth and now currently living in the city of Bristol, UK. 2015 saw the release of his debut album "Revolt & Resolve", which he produced, engineered, mixed and predominantly performed himself. The album features performances from fellow Devonian musicians, including Vicky Butterfield of roots-punk band Crazy Arm, and fellow solo act Calvin Thomas.
Cookson has shared the stage with the likes of Franz Nicolay (Against Me!/The Hold Steady), Cory Branan, Austin Lucas, and even once had a harmonica jam with Dave Hause of the Loved Ones, on a backstreet in London. His other releases to date include debut EP "Five Times" (2012) and a split with Welsh singer-songwriter Ieuan Williams (2014).
